In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) recognized Leana S. Taing, APAWLA’s Board of Governors and Past President, on this week’s newsletter, The Current.
APAWLA is proud of Leana’s contributions to the community! In addition to serving on the APAWLA board, Leana also serves on the Advisory Council for Racial Justice and Equality for Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the President’s Task Force on Racial and Social Justice for LACBA. In 2020, Leana and her Mentorship Committee Co-Chair, Christine Gonong, created APAWLA’s Trailblazer Speakers Series. Our next Trailblazer Speakers Series features a conversation with Hon. Jacqueline H. Nguyen next Thursday, May 20, from 12:30-1:30 PM.
